Dr. Melissa (“Mel”) Landon leads Commercial and Business Development for AI and Automation at Millipore Sigma, the Life Science business of Merck KGaA. With 20 years of experience of building cutting edge platforms across pharma and tech, Mel’s current work focuses on scaling intelligent automation and AI solutions that bridge scientific innovation with commercial value. She brings to this role a cross-disciplinary background spanning life sciences, technology partnerships, and enterprise transformation. Prior to joining MilliporeSigma, Melissa served as Chief Strategy Officer at Cyclica, an AI-enabled tech bio company (acquired by Recursion in 2023). Melissa completed her PhD in Bioinformatics at Boston University and performed postdoctoral studies in biochemistry and X-ray crystallography at Brandeis University.

Aravind Neelakantan
Aravind Neelakantan is a Specialist Solutions Architect at Amazon Web Services (AWS), focusing on Generative AI training and inference solutions. His expertise spans artificial intelligence and high-performance computing, with research interests in performance analysis and optimization of AI workloads on heterogeneous architectures. Prior to AWS, Aravind developed reference architectures for large-scale AI clusters and specialized in AI inference performance optimization using hardware accelerators. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Florida, specializing in heterogeneous HPC architecture.

Aman Shanbhag is a Specialist Solutions Architect on the ML Frameworks team at Amazon Web Services (AWS), where he helps customers and partners with deploying ML training and inference solutions at scale. Before joining AWS, Aman graduated from Rice University with degrees in computer science, mathematics, and entrepreneurship.

Mark Vinciguerra is an Associate Specialist Solutions Architect at Amazon Web Services (AWS) based in New York. He focuses on Generative AI training and inference, with the goal of helping customers architect, optimize, and scale their workloads across various AWS services. Prior to AWS, he went to Boston University and graduated with a degree in Computer Engineering.

Philippe Soussan
Philippe Soussan is Technology Portfolio Director at imec. For 20 years, he has held different positions in R&D management at imec in the field of sensors, photonics, and 3D packaging. Addressing these technologies from R&D up to manufacturing levels.
His expertise lies in wafer-scale technologies, and he has authored over 100 publications and holds more than 20 patents in these fields.
Since 2024, Philippe has been in charge of strategy definition within the “IC-link by imec” sector. This imec business line provides access to design and manufacturing services in the most advanced ASIC and specialty technologies.
